  • You want to pay your deposit before your arrival

    So, this is it! You are ready to book and want to know how to make your downpayment?

    They are a few options offered to you.


    Using PayPal

    Please contact us before transferring via Paypal. Do not transfer without asking us first. 

    Login onto your PayPal account and send the correct amount (generally speaking a month of rent) to our PayPal account: ed.roquette@gmail.com. You will have to pay the PayPal fees yourself, or they will be taken out of your down-payment. Please make sure to include your name and room code in the transfer information. Specify this is a down-payment for your booking.


    Transferring funds to our Taiwanese bank account

    Go to your bank branch from your home country and ask to make an international transfer. Depending on the banks, you may be given the opportunity to proceed this operation with your online banking system. Please make sure to include your name and room code in the transfer information. Specify this is a down-payment for your booking.

  • You want to pay your monthly rent

    1. Using your own Taiwanese bank account to make a transfer


    You can do this from any ATM of your own bank. Follow the English instructions that will appear on screen. It's very straightforward.


    Please make sure to include your name, the month for which you are paying and room code in the transfer information.

    2. Make a Walk-in Cash Deposit at any Mega Bank branch


    You can do this from any Mega Bank branch in Taiwan. To find a Mega Bank near you, please click here. Walk in and pick a number at the counter. Usually, there will be a person in charge of the reception of international clients. Prepare the right amount of money, go to the counter and ask them to help you fill a cash deposit form. Bring your ID for extra-safety. Branches may have varying policies when dealing with foreigners willing to do cash deposits.


    Here is an example of how to fill in the deposit slip.


    Please make sure to include your name, the month for which you are paying and room code in the cash deposit slip's information. Follow the instructions after this section showing you how to fill the cash deposit slip.

    3. Make a cash deposit at rooms.taipei 's office in downtown Taipei


    We will only accept cash deposits at our office on the last day of the month (if it is a working day, otherwise the next day), from 14.00 onwards. Please confirm on your house conversation group before coming. Here is a map link to our office. 

    When you are done, make sure to fill in the payment confirmation form.

I've completed my downpayment or monthly rental payment, what do I do now?

Congrats! You did this like a boss. Now, there's a last step: you need to fill the "Payment Confirmation Form" below to make sure we take your payment into consideration. Don't skip this step... If you do we will consider your payment to be late or undone and we will have to apply the contract's penalties...and we really don't want to be that kind of gremlin landlords.
